What is Ethnic Rhinoplasty?

Ethnic rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that addresses cosmetic and medical nose issues, but all without undermining the patient’s ethnic characteristics. Ethnic rhinoplasty is performed in a similar manner to a traditional rhinoplasty procedure, but with more care and attention to preserving the patient’s ethnic features.

Ethnic rhinoplasty can address the following cosmetic and medical issues:

  • Correct breathing problems
  • Bumps on the nose bridge
  • Deviated septum
  • Too-wide nasal bridge
  • Bulbous nasal tip
  • Too-large nose
  • Too-small nose
  • And more

What is the Recovery from Ethnic Rhinoplasty Like?

Recovery is similar to a traditional rhinoplasty procedure, in which the patient should expect to spend about four weeks recovering from their surgery. We recommend that patients take the first week off from work, as this is when the majority of swelling and bruising is present. Patients can return to work after the first week and the gym at the third or fourth week.

My experience with Dr. Song and the whole office was beyond amazing. It was made clear that each member of his team cared about my feelings, well-being, and happiness!
